Join University of Memphis’ CAESAR and Memphis Public Libraries Connect Crew for FREE water activities and a Storytime on the second Saturdays in March through July from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the playground in Tom Lee Park.
The event in May takes place in River Garden located at 51 Riverside Drive due to festivals in Tom Lee Park.
What to expect each month:
March 9 - It’s National Groundwater Awareness Week! Celebrate with CAESAR and Connect Crew and get a sample of sand from the Memphis Aquifer, while supplies last.
April 13 - April is Earth Day Month! Try your hand at Pollution Prevention Bingo with CAESAR and join Connect Crew for Storytime.
May 11* - Let’s celebrate Drinking Water Week! Join CAESAR for a fun water conservation game and Connect Crew for Storytime.
June 8 - It’s National River Month and what better place to celebrate than Tom Lee Park! Join CAESAR for a fun demonstration on how water flows in rivers and Storytime with Connect Crew.
July 13 - Did you know that July is Smart Irrigation Month? Join CAESAR to learn about water runoff and infiltration and Connect Crew for Storytime.
